What a profile can do
Change
- Match input columns by name, even when their order changes
- Keep only the rows you need
- Rename and reorder columns, drop the rest
- Translate values (Yes/No to Y/N, sizes, categories)
- Split and join columns, such as a full name into first and last
- Number rows, fill in constants, clean up spaces
Check
- Required fields that are empty
- Email addresses that are not valid
- Duplicate values that should be unique
- Values outside the list you expect
Checks never change your data. They point at the row so you can decide.
Nothing is fixed silently
Every excluded row, every corrected suspicious value and every doubtful cell shows up in the findings list with its row number and a reason. Values your rules map or fill in appear in the preview. A missing value stays empty. A strange value is flagged, not guessed. You can trust the output because you can see exactly what happened to it.
