Terms and Conditions
Effective date: [[EFFECTIVE_DATE]]
These terms apply to the website https://sheettailor.com and to the SheetTailor application ("SheetTailor", "the service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Who we are
SheetTailor is provided by:
STOMAČKO DOO BEOGRAD, a limited liability company (društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću)
Borska 13B, 11000 Beograd (Rakovica), Serbia
Registered in the Register of Business Entities of the Serbian Business Registers Agency (Agencija za privredne registre), registration number (matični broj) 21977659
Tax identification number (PIB): 114140816
VAT number: 114140816
Support email: denis@stomacko.com
Support phone: +381 64 157 6685
In these terms "we", "us" and "our" mean STOMAČKO DOO BEOGRAD. "You" means the person using the service and, where you use it for an organisation, that organisation. A "consumer" is a person who uses the service for purposes outside their trade, business or profession.
What SheetTailor does
SheetTailor converts a spreadsheet into a target format that you define once and reuse.
What it does:
- reads
.xlsxand.xlsmfiles of up to 25 MB that you open in your browser; - applies a saved set of rules (a "profile"): matching input columns by name, filtering rows, mapping and tidying values, and running checks;
- shows a preview with the number of rows included and excluded, and a list of findings such as empty required fields, values outside a mapping, malformed email addresses and duplicates;
- exports the result as an
.xlsxfile; - saves profiles in your browser and lets you export and import them as JSON files.
What it does not do:
- It is built for Excel workbooks. The spreadsheet you convert must be an
.xlsxor.xlsmfile of up to 25 MB; other formats, including CSV and pasted cells, are not supported. - It turns one sheet into one flat table. It does not merge several files or produce summaries across files.
- It never guesses missing or unclear data. Values change only where a rule in your profile says so. Corrections of suspicious values, such as removed spaces, a corrected postcode or swapped first and last names, are listed individually as findings. Other rule-based changes are not: a mapped value, a fixed value, a row number, or a split or joined value appears only in the preview and the output; a default for an empty cell is reported only as a count; and a mapping can be set up to leave an unrecognised value empty without any finding. Check the rules in your profile, the preview and the findings before you export.
- It reads cell values, not cell formatting. Formulas are replaced by their last calculated result, formatting is not kept, and leading and trailing spaces are removed from text. Dates, and numbers whose leading zeros come only from a cell format, are read as the underlying number and not as they appear on screen. Check such columns in the output.
- It runs in your browser and needs a current version of Chrome or Safari with JavaScript and local storage enabled. Within the 25 MB limit, the size of file it can handle depends on your device.
- It does not store your files. If you close or reload the page, the loaded file, the preview and the findings are gone. The exported file is downloaded to your device.
- It does not guarantee that the exported file will be accepted by any third-party system. You are responsible for checking the output before you use or send it.
SheetTailor can also suggest a draft profile using an AI model. The suggestion is loaded into the profile editor as a draft: you can review and change it, it is saved only when you save the profile, and it is never applied to your data automatically. AI suggestions can be wrong or incomplete.
Free and paid features
Some features are free and some require a paid plan. The current plans, what each includes and their prices are shown on the Pricing page.
The paid plan ("Pro") is a licence for 24 months, bought with one payment; it does not renew. It includes AI draft proposals ("drafts") up to the number shown on the Pricing page when you buy it, unlimited saved profiles (the free plan keeps a limited number, shown on the Pricing page) and email support. Buying Pro again adds the same number of drafts and extends your licence to 24 months from that purchase. Drafts not used by the end of the licence lapse. If we stop selling Pro, licences already bought run to their end date. Drafts are a usage allowance of your Pro licence: they have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged or paid out, except through the refunds described in these terms and the Refund Policy. One draft is used each time the AI returns a proposal into the profile editor; a request that fails or that we refuse does not use a draft. Running, editing and testing profiles never uses drafts.
Pro is unlocked with a license key. After payment, the confirmation page shows the key and saves it in that browser, and we send it to the email address you gave at checkout. The key is stored in your browser; to use Pro on another computer, paste the key into the application there. The key is for you or your organisation; do not publish it. We count the drafts used per key on our server.
To protect the service, the number of drafts that can be requested with one key in a day is limited, and the AI feature may be temporarily unavailable when our provider or our daily capacity is at its limit. The application tells you when that happens, and no draft is used. These technical limits are not part of what you buy and we may adjust them.
We may change plans and prices. A change does not affect a licence you have already bought.
Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
This means that when you buy a paid plan, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle's terms for buyers apply to the purchase in addition to these terms. Paddle charges your payment method, collects any applicable taxes, which are included in the price shown on the Pricing page, and sends you the receipt.
To buy a paid plan, choose it on the Pricing page. By starting the checkout there, you accept these terms and the Refund Policy; the Pricing page says so and links to both. Paddle's checkout then opens, where you enter your details and can check and correct them before you confirm the payment. Paddle confirms your order by email. These terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy stay available on this website, where you can save or print them. We have not signed up to any code of conduct.
Refunds
Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your files and your responsibilities
Your files are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to us. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
One exception: if you use the AI suggestion, the first row of your sheet, the sheet name, the number of rows and counts per column are sent to us and to our AI provider, together with the output column names in the profile editor, which may come from the first row of a sample target file, and the sentence you typed. No other cell values are sent. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is sent.
You are responsible for:
- having the right to process the spreadsheets you open, including any personal data in them;
- reviewing the preview and the findings before you export, and checking the exported file before you use it;
- keeping copies of your original files;
- keeping a backup of your profiles, by exporting them as JSON. Profiles live in your browser and are lost if you clear its site data.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful;
- interfere with the service or try to bypass its technical limits;
- send automated or excessive requests to any of our server functions;
- copy, resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
Intellectual property
We own the service, including its software, design and text. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it in line with these terms.
You keep all rights to your files, your profiles and the files you export. We claim no rights over them.
The service includes open-source components, which remain subject to their own licences.
Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features to keep the service secure and working, to comply with the law, to adapt to changes in services it relies on, or to improve it. Changes are made at no extra cost to you. We describe every change to the paid features on our website when we make it.
If you have a paid plan and a change affects your access to or use of the paid features more than in a minor way, we will email you at least 30 days in advance, unless security or the law requires a faster change. In that email we tell you what will change, when, and how you can end your plan. You can then end your plan free of charge within 30 days of our email or of the change, whichever is later, and receive a refund for the drafts you have not used, as described in the Refund Policy.
If we decide to stop selling Pro, or to wind down the service as a whole, we will announce it on our website and email every Pro buyer in advance. Licences already bought, AI drafting included, keep working to their end date.
We try to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Quality of the service
Free features are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that they are free of errors or that their output is correct for your purpose.
If you are a consumer and you paid for a plan, you have the rights that the law of the country where you live gives you if digital content or a digital service is not supplied or does not conform to the contract. These include having the problem fixed, a price reduction, or ending the contract with a refund. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits those rights. The section "Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution" explains how to raise a problem.
If you use the service for your business, paid features are also provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, revenue or business;
- our total liability to you for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 50 if you paid nothing.
These limits do not apply to damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you are a consumer, the limits in this section do not reduce your rights where a paid feature is not supplied or does not conform to these terms, including your right to compensation under the law of the country where you live. For consumers, the limits apply only to the free features and only as far as that law allows.
Ending your use
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. We may also end your access to a paid plan for another reason, but then we will email you at least 30 days in advance. If we end your access to a paid plan while you still have drafts you have not used, you receive a refund for them as described in the Refund Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for a valid reason: a change in the law or in what a regulator or court requires, a change in Paddle's terms that affects you, a change to the service as described in "Changes to the service", or to make the terms clearer without changing their meaning. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
If you have a paid plan, a change that is not to your advantage does not apply to a licence you have already bought. We will email you about such a change at least 30 days before it takes effect.
Changes that the law requires apply from the date the law sets.
If you use only the free features, the new terms apply when you use the service after their effective date.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. You can bring proceedings against us in the courts of the place where you live or in the courts of Belgrade, Serbia. We can bring proceedings against you only in the courts of the place where you live.
If you use the service for your business, the courts in Belgrade, Serbia, have exclusive jurisdiction.
Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution
If a paid feature does not work as described, or you have another complaint, contact us at denis@stomacko.com, by phone at +381 64 157 6685, or by post at Borska 13B, 11000 Beograd, Serbia. Please include the email address you used for the purchase.
We confirm receipt without delay and give your complaint a reference number. Within 8 days we reply in writing: we tell you whether we accept the complaint, why not if we do not, and, if we do, exactly how and by when we propose to resolve it. Please tell us within 3 days of receiving our reply whether you agree with the proposal; if you do not reply in that time, the law treats the proposal as not accepted. We resolve an accepted complaint within 15 days of receiving it; the time between your receiving our proposal and our receiving your answer does not count. If, for objective reasons, we cannot resolve it in time, we will ask you once to agree to a longer period.
Under Serbian consumer protection law we are required to take part in out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. If you are a consumer and we cannot settle your complaint, you can propose out-of-court resolution before a body on the list kept by the Serbian ministry responsible for consumer protection (the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade). The list, and a form for submitting a proposal online, are on the ministry's platform for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, vansudsko.must.gov.rs. This does not affect your right to go to court.
Language
These terms are available in English only, and the contract between you and us is concluded in English. The same applies to the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy.
